A young robin got stuck in our garage. Birds always seem to think that flying up will get them out. It made for a nice opportunity to get a close up shot. Due to the low light I used a shutter speed of 1/2 second and braced myself on the car to avoid camera shake. After taking a few pictures I finally got it to fly out when it landed on the car. I came at it with a butterfly net in the direction of the garage door and from above to make sure it would stay low enough to get out.

For my first image I am posting a landscape. I held the camera above my head to get this shot between the plants. The growth was pretty thick around the bench where this was taken. The ground was also eroding on one side making the bench close to falling into the water. I was attempting to get the greatest depth of field for this shot by closing the aperture as much as my camera would allow.
